We'll just call her Elphaba from now on

This is the exact reason why Kate doesn't go to bed earlier than the other two kiddos:

I love that she actually looked ashamed for a moment in that picture. And, since I'm sure you're wondering, NO, it didn't come off in the bath. She's still plenty green today.

I'm not sure where exactly she found the paint, since it is a standing rule in our house that art supplies are not allowed up in the bedrooms. For those of you that followed my HSB blog, you will remember why:

Can I count that as "art" on our homeschool log?

That third photo is a CLASSIC!! The black marker moment is fairly familiar to me as a mom, but I've never seen just a grand application of paint before!! Thanks for the laugh this morning.

I have 2 budding artists and all the supplies tightly locked up because of pictures like these!

I'm so glad that your friends have someone like you, to think of them. I have a feeling they will be blessed by this book. I didn't find any books at first, and I really wanted to read something, anything. I got into Bring the Rain, Angie's blog and it REALLY helped me through.

Since you mentioned it, what is a reader? I haven't figured all this out yet and see buttons for them occasionally....

Oh, my. I'm still giggling. :) Shrek immediately came to mind. She will not appreciate these pictures in ten years. Be sure to hide them from her until just the right moment.

I love it! My youngest (almost 3) does the SAME thing. She really digs the body art and will go out of her way to find the supplies no matter where I hide them.

Looks like a baby Hulk. Too cute.

Reminds me of a picture I have of my youngest boy who got into some lipstick.... at least that washed off! LOL

Oh, and here's the clincher. I finally found something to take off the green paint. Irish Spring soap! Who would have though the green soap would take off the green paint?

She is precious!

Oh I have so many pictures of my 4 year old in earlier years--various colors and various mediums. YES count it as art time. She was exploring the medium of paint on skin.

Did you go to church this way?

Oh my-- I too am giggling. ONLY BECAUSE.. we have gone through this time and time again. I have no idea where she gets the pen. I think she has her own stash in her room.

Irish Spring soap, eh? Thanks for the tip.

That's too cute....brings back memories, that's for sure. Only, it wasn't art supplies, it was mascara.
