How you know the grammar lessons are stinking...er, sticking

Overheard at our house today:

"Hey, poop is a noun!"

(And of course, the only good "homeschool mom" answer:

Why, yes it is! And how do we turn it into a verb?)

ROFL!

My son used to accuse me of "always turning EVERYTHING into a lesson!"

I guess we're good at that, eh? ;-)

how funny! Free-thinking and child-led learning. Homeschooling is the best.

Oh, my! I am splitting a gut over that one. I will have to pass that one on to my dear sister who is striving to train two of her three children under four years of age.

BTW, you have been given an award. Please go to www.ehomebody.com/blog for Tuesday, August 12, to access it.

I appreciate all the wonderful thingish things you pass on to us through your wonderful blog. You are not obligated, however, to pass it on. These "awards" can become like chain letters sometimes. Yet, you truly do deserve some recognition for your accomplishments through ThingishThings.

Most sincerely,
Marcia Wilwerding
